About the Role: 

The Marketing Assistant will interact with other departments such as Sales, Product Development and Management, Purchasing, Finance and IT to ensure all marketing activities are meeting Company marketing and branding requirements.

What you'll do:

  • Coordination of the marketing calendar planning of all marketing activities for the brands Responsible for the organization of marketing assets within the warehouse including documentation of yearly inventory, proper documentation for shipments, accurate tracking for items and accounting for all returned after events including review of material condition, proper storage and reporting.
  • Assist in the coordination of video shoots including product orders, sample request, prop organization, studio prep and daily shoot assistance
  • Assist in Amazon Vine orders including the addition of Marketing collateral and logistics of the order
  • Assist in sample seeding for customer reviews including product orders and management and recording of stock availability
  • Placement, tracking and follow-up on all product orders for video shoots, events, customer reviews, PR
  • Assist in the execution of all National Trade Shows, sales meetings and PR events including organizing of materials, props and products, attendee accommodations, on-site coordination and assistance in the setup and take down of events
  • Assist in the development of monthly reporting including metrics and monthly activity
  • Responsible for the tracking of shipments for samples, POP, and other marketing assets with timely reporting including all associated shipment invoices
  • Partner with other departments and groups to ensure all marketing materials are delivered on time and meet the needs of the business
  • Work in conjunction with the merchandising team on POP kitting and shipments to key customers
  • Set up and updates of POP and promotional materials within internal systems
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of product features across all areas of the Thule brand, their benefits, and stay updated with product launches, changes and enhancements to ensure that marketing activations reflect the current product portfolio, business needs and best practices
  • Work with Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Product Development departments to ensure marketing activations reflect the brand identity, level of professionalism, focus areas and strategies established by Events Marketing Manager.
  • Utilize and stay updated with the Thule Group’s training tools, platforms, and methodologies to be able to help elevate the Thule brand at all event activations.

What you'll bring:

  • College degree or 2 years of equivalent experience
  • Extraordinary attention to detail and follow-through, with experience in project/event management and budget tracking
  • Must have good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in team and independently
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., perform duties in wide variations in temperature, perform repetitive movements, climb a ladder and stairs, walk, lift, stoop, sit, and/or stand for long periods of time including operation of a forklift
  • Comfortable handling and operation of a company van
  • Up to 25% travel required
