JOB SUMMARY

The Data Governance Analyst is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the accuracy of product data in Thule business systems. The Analyst works closely with product management throughout the product lifecycle to support product phase-in, maintenance and change order initiatives, coordinating with global, cross-departmental teams to ensure all requirements to cost, purchase or manufacture, stock, ship and commercialize the product are met. T

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with product management to support, coordinate and track system setup and change requirements from phase-in to obsolescence. Facilitate product management initiatives with internal teams to ensure business requirements and timelines are met. Reinforce product management adherence to internal, cross-functional processes to facilitate efficient, timely completion of requests.
  • Manage and maintain critical product documentation including part number and UPC logs and assignments, product specifications, quotes, drawings and setup forms. Support product information inquiries and distribute product data and assets to internal and external users as necessary.
  • Lead item creation in M3 system and oversee setup activities through order placement  
    • Ensure setups are complete, accurate and include all requirements necessary to stock, ship and sell
    • Communicate setup details internally to trigger downstream launch activities including deployment of product commercialization assets (price lists, customer setups, digital listings, sales collateral, etc.)
  • Own product data in M3 system and govern cross-departmental settings, to established processes, for transaction, reporting and performance accuracy
    • Work with finance to set cost and maintain cost calculation tools and parameters
    • Coordinate mass data updates, corrections and changes with impacted teams
    • Troubleshoot issues and errors, perform corrections and coordinate communications 
    • Perform periodic reviews to ensure product parameters align with process guidelines
  • Manage product engineering change order (ECO) process and activities. Facilitate revision changes to product data, bills of materials, documentation and system parameters, coordinating tasks and inputs with responsible parties as needed for timely implementation
  • Support departmental process and tool maintenance, improvement initiatives, reporting and other functions and projects as assigned by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

  • Four-year college degree
  • Knowledge of M3 Infor ERP system in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with QlikView data management system or similar MRP reporting
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and instructions
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat software, Microsoft SharePoint
  • Must be an exceptionally detailed, highly accurate and organized person
  • Must be highly motivated, take initiative and be able to work with personnel at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to lead cross functional meetings
  • 5+ years of administrative and organization experience in sales/manufacturing environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills required
